If you have made a donation of €250 or more in one calendar year, you can help ACN to claim tax relief on your donation, making your kind gift go even further. It only takes a few minutes.

You can sign and return a CHY4 Certificate to our office at St Joseph’s, 151 St Mobhi Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9, D09 HC82. We will take care of the rest of the process for you.

In the 2024 reporting year, our work remained focused on strengthening the life of the Church at every level, from the formation of priests, religious and lay people to the practical support needed to sustain communities facing hardship, persecution and displacement. Our starting point is always close dialogue with local Churches, ensuring that our help responds directly to the most urgent pastoral and humanitarian needs.

Subsistence aid for religious

In 2024 alone, with 867 projects, we supported religious sisters from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe in their valuable work.

Education of Catechists

Formation of the laity to serve as catechists is essential to preserving faith. In 2024, through 805 projects, we supported the faith formation of laypersons.

Formation of Seminarians and Priests

With the generosity of our benefactors, we were able to fund a total of 9,961 seminarians in 2024.

Distribution of Bibles and Religious books

Since 1979, ACN has published and supplied the Child's Bible, which has been translated into 194 languages and distributed 51.7 million times. In 2024 alone, 844,200 religious books were produced and distributed with the help of ACN.

Construction of Churches and Church Facilities

The construction and reconstruction of churches, monasteries, pastoral centres and mission stations, thereby safeguarding and promoting the pastoral work of the Catholic Church worldwide. 755 such buildings were constructed or repaired with our help in 2024 alone.
