Easter Reflection

As we celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord, ACN offers a reflection on the love that God held for Our Lady, and reflects on how the work of ACN is based in faith and love, offered to us by God as gifts.

As we celebrate Easter, the Resurrection of Jesus, let us rejoice in His presence and become bearers of the joy of the Resurrection like His mother Mary. Our Lady, who is the first missionary of the Resurrection.

Inside of us all live great and beautiful virtues. Manifestations of God’s love. We must live them courageously. We must choose to want to live with charity, peace, and love. All these are “small” things that they never taught us when we were children; but today the Faith helps us live our lives through these virtues, and through them we are able to grasp and understand the beauty of life. Life fully illuminated by God.

Think of how many times Our Lady has appeared in these centuries. This was so we could believe more profoundly in the strength of faith. Because it is faith that gives us strength, security, and peace. For us Christians, faith is our great wealth. Our Lady lived by faith. She lived only by the strength of faith. Many times she felt lost, like us in this time of Lockdowns. But She knew, for the angel told her, what would happen to that child. Jesus was the Son of God, but He suffered like other children.  Our lady was able to journey through those difficult time through the faith she had in God.

The lives of Jesus and Mary were lives of faith. Mary never rebelled and always said “YES” to the situations that came upon her. This was done without doubting. For she knew that there exists a God who does not disappoint.

Day after day our charity, ACN Ireland, provides aid to many Persecuted Christians because we, too, began (and continue) to live with the same faith, a firm faith in God.

The Lord wanted to reveal Himself, to make Himself known to us. Mary of Nazareth met Him, she lived with her heart full of God and became everything that God expected from her to be.

God expects that we all live in faith. He expects that from us in ACN Ireland. He expects us to share with humanity His beauty, honesty, truth and love. We at ACN do this by working with our supporters and benefactors, to provide aid to the Persecuted Church. To invite them to take part on God’s love. We clean the wounds of the suffering world only because of the love Mary and Jesus.

Lets us join together and allow our hearts to be filled with the strength, purity and faith offered to us by the Grace of God.

We pray that God, who has loved Mary so much, may share with us His joy. May he share his Love so we at ACN Ireland can reach out, through your prayers and alms, to our brothers and sisters in Christ. To make this mystery fill us fully and to fill them. So that love and faith will prevail evil. That through the love of God, we can declare true freedom and we can all be genuinely happy!

Our Lady of Fatima, under your protection we seek refuge. Holy Mother of God receive our prayers and supplications in our trials and free us and all the persecuted Christians from every danger.

O Glorious and Blessed Mother. Amen.
